Insolvency numbers down - but storm clouds ahead

Welcome to our first Newsletter for 2015. As commented late last year, we were continuing to see corporate insolvency and bankruptcy numbers fall. We expect that theme to continue into 2015. Many of you will undoubtedly be cheering. However cycles are cycles and it would be naive to believe that all is good economically out there. Indeed there is much to glean from certain key aspects currently playing out economically as to where some of the possible storm clouds ahead may be. As always we believe that critical thinking should be a core foundation of any business management team to ensure that the business remains sustainable and also alive to opportunities that may exist. Business strategies should also continually be reviewed to ensure that they are delivering the intended outcomes and where this is not occurring that corrective action is taken. In our next Newsletter we will look at the corporate insolvency and bankruptcy statistics for 1st quarter 2015 and provide an update on the 2015 Jones Partners Insolvency Report.

In the meantime, we hope that you enjoy the articles.
