Bruce is a Principal with the Firm and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Western Sydney, NSW. He is an Official Liquidator, Trustee in Bankruptcy and a Justice of the Peace. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA), CPA Australia, the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia (IPAA) and the Turnaround Management Association. In addition, he is also on the NSW State Council for the ICAA and a Board Member of the Western Sydney Business Connection.
Bruce has over 12 years corporate and personal insolvency and reconstruction experience. He has also held roles in commerce with several Top 100 Companies to further add to his professional skills in areas such as compliance and project management.
Bruce actively encourages individuals and business owners to seek professional assistance at the earliest time when they are experiencing financial distress. This optimises the range of options available and can quite often enable an informal restructuring or turnaround solution.
Irrespective of the nature of the insolvency and restructuring matter, Bruce believes that effective communication with all parties including business stakeholders, employees, creditors and other stakeholders not only reduces anxiety levels for those concerned, but also enables financial hardship to be appropriately dealt with, as well as enhancing the possibility of recovery for creditors. He also acts for creditors in enforcing recovery actions and has had extensive experience in public examinations and recovery of concealed assets.
Bruce actively provides training seminars for other firms to aid in increasing their awareness about corporate and personal insolvency and reconstruction issues. He is also actively involved in the Western Sydney Region to co-ordinate development and networking opportunities for the Region’s future business leaders.
